About the WCS640 CLEANWIPES 640 Lint Free Fibre Optic Wipes

The Clean Wipes 640 wipes are engineered for both cleaning bare fibre before fusion splicing and for cleaning fibre end-faces.

The unique, ‘high-modulus’ material resists shredding, even when cleaning LC connectors and is able to dissipate static.  When fibre end-faces are inserted into the slots of the box, fingerprints, oils, grime, polishing compound, dust and lint quickly are swept away.

A multifunctional product, the soft but strong Clean Wipe fabric is ideal for both cleaning bare fibre and fibre optic connector end-faces, as well as lenses, mirrors, diffraction gratings, prisms and test equipment.

The wipes are housed in a ruggedized box which means they are perfect for use in the field
